Set along the tranquil banks of the Nestawya River, this warming hut emerges as a sculptural beacon in the winter landscape. Inspired by the surrounding ice, its
form blends suspended cubic elements with a sleek circular canopy, creating a striking interplay of light, shadow, and texture. Beneath the shelter, tiered wood
en seating forms an intimate amphitheater, offering warmth and protection from the elements while framing views of the frozen terrain. More than a place to
pause, the space invites communal life—accommodating storytelling circles, cultural performances, and riverside gatherings. The hanging cubes evoke drifting
ice fragments, adding a poetic dimension to the architectural experience. Natural light filters through, animating the space throughout the day, while the open
